Thank you for posting pictures, Remy! If I had been at work today, there would have been NO pictures!
Here are some pictures of PEOPLE, finally!
- Our hostess, Remy
- Cindi and Rob
- Tara, plant swap hostess. She was going to a wedding later that day!
- Rob won the prize for largest tomato.
- Zana crossed the border from Canada to attend. She didn't really like to have her picture taken, so I will only post this one! Nope, I am no paparazzo!
- Ginny B, Eileen and Marilyn enjoying the taste fest!
- Front from left: Coleen, Terry (tomatoaddict), Peggy and Desi. Back from left: Patty, Marcia, Michael with his daughter, Mr Head Less, Dawn, Pomona (penguingardener), Larry.
- Michael. He took the group picture!
- Pomona (penguingardener). She recognized a fellow photographer in me and urged me to try her and Michael's fantastic lenses. I would never have asked myself to try them, and I was in heaven trying out her Canon 75-200 mm f2.8 L. Thank you so much, Pomona!
- Patty. Patty runs the Fireside Inn in East Concord, where the first WNY tomato fest with public access took place a couple of weeks ago. A gorgeous place and a great event!
- Marcia. She won two prizes. Boldest and Ugliest tomato. Marcia was the coordinator for the public access tomato fest in East Concord together with Patty. I am so happy that they could come to our taste fest!
- Gary, our host and Remy's husband! Thank you for your hospitality, Gary!
- Sheryl, Remy's sister-in-law. She took the pictures that Remy posted!
- Mr Tomato Head receiving prize for smallest tomato.
- Zana took this picture. (Yes, Zana was behind the camera too, not only in front of it.) I was surpriced to win the prize for sweetest tomato.
- Norm was the oldest grower at the taste fest!
