I am a little north of Black Bear and I too have been getting lot of tomatoes from my 18 varieties (under 40 plants) container grown. As Bear says, a mixed up season to start with but hot and dry for a long while now. Lots given away and have been canning them too.

I found that this year they ripened weeks later than in previous years, even last year which was a cooler wetter summer. Some of mine are going to finish early due to powdery mildew.

The figs were a full month later than in the last few years, too. Apples are dropping early due to the dryness. Every year is different.
