Yes, I grew it, here in upstate NY, weather as it always is, nothing special.

But I grew it so many years ago I have no memory of it, but if it had been outstanding I would have remembered it.

I also remember some threads of long ago, can't remember where, probably GW so you might try Googling,about whether it was really PL or not, b'c folks were also getting some RL plants. And yes, Early Girl was brought up in those threads and it's become clear with the PSR-37 OP Early Girl that part of the parentage in France where EG was bred, might be related to Visitation Valley.

Totally off topic but I remember when growing it that to me Visitation Valley spoke more to the name of a cemetery than anything else.

Now that I remember it I think there was also some back and forth e-mails from someone in CA about VV and those exchanges are long gone on a previous computer.
