Plus, in the Vitamix, the tomato seeds are pulverized. There's nothing left to to be abrasive...

Not liking roasted pumpkin seeds and wishing to utilize the inside of the seed pods a method of utilizing was devised. The seeds were cooked in a double boiler to prevent burning, liquid was removed in the food mill. The seeds were then put through the Champion Juicer to separate the seed husks from the pulp.The pulp is kept in the refrigerator for a few says until used up.The pulp may be eaten as is, or put on the morning cereal as required.The rest of the pumpkin will be made into juice.the gravel part should be removed.

Approximately twelve pounds of tomatoes were made into six litres of juice with some beets adsed to enhance colour All the products were picked immediately prior to processing.The product was carefully Pressure Canned at 15 PSI for 15 minutes. No acid was added to the juice. Annotated photographs depict the process. The seed gel is obtained from the Champion Juicer and the gravelly residue is discarded.
