Bush Early Girl is a great yielder per square foot of space, but Early Girl Improved, is the best tasting, grows just like Early Girl hybrid, it really is improved taste wise. I have alot of good heirlooms and it is as good as most, with a few exceptions, very few. This year, I had an Early Girl tomato that was 12 ounces and was my personal largest for the variety. I have another one similar, and it has a beefsteak appearance, not the round typical tomato look of the F1 hybrid. I hardly hear anyone complain about the taste of an Early Girl up here in AK, they usually complain about the taste of other varieties though.
