Isn't Santaka the one that was aka "Japone" (probably 'Japanese' pepper)? So at least two of them could actually be the same or closely related pepper? (It does look identical to Takanotsume in the pictures! Yatsafusa looks like a somewhat longer pepper. )
These plants are all crazy pretty.
I love it when peppers point to the sky. Cole's Chile Conga is another one...
I just cut the peppers off the big Guajillo plant in my living room and put the poor thing outdoors.
I will miss the plant but don't want to see another aphid for a long time.
I have a couple of peppers left in the basement, where aphids did not get in... fingers crossed..
