Interesting side note. These trees were planted from seed brought over by the Spanish but the guy that planted them had acquired the seeds from another country he'd visited in prior time. Danged but I don't remember where! Guess another trip in store for us . We had planned to go up again anyway and make the drive on back on back roads over the mountains to hwy 1. Went that way years ago saw a few redwoods and neat stuff. My wife's not been that way and is excited by prospect.
