I used to always recommend Better Boys as the best all around hybrid tomato but I have a new favorite. Big Beef. They don't get huge like Beefsteak type tomatoes but they do produce a lot of really nice sized tomatoes. All of them are about the size of the one pictured in my hand. Very smooth, pretty shaped tomatoes. Taste good too. I have picked 7 tomatoes off the plant in the photo already and it's still going strong. I have had tomatoes plants give me lots of tomatoes before but never this many of such a really good size. Oh, and they produced the first ripe tomato in my garden as well beating my Better Boys, Cherokee Purple, German Queens, Parks Whoppers and even an Early Girl to the punch.
