The tube you are seeing in the videos is either a silicone grafting clip or perhaps a piece of rubber or vinyl tubing (like you'd use with an aquarium pump), cut down the side. These clips naturally fall off as the plant grows. The tube should have a cut in it. If it's just a solid tube......that would be a new one on me.

They do have spring-loaded grafting clips that look a little like the clips used for orchids. I don't know if the orchid clips can be used. I think they might be a little big.
