Spatz-dont remember what the lettuce in the photo was. I buy lots of different kinds of cutting lettuces, mainly from Seeds from Italy and SSE. I also grow arugla, spinach, kale, chard, mache, and the like. I kind of buy what sounds good to me, grow it until I run out of seed and then buy other kinds. I especially like tom thumb lettuce and little gem romaine. Really, any nice cutting lettuce or romaine or arugula, etc takes great. I also especially like barba di frati, a cutting lettuce form Italy I got from Seeds from Italy. Very nice variety.
