i was going to take a break this year, but ended up planting some seeds from my
lempi line small pink oval plant, from a couple years ago. several seeds sprouted,
but curled, and deformed, and died shortly after birth.
one seed sprouted strong, and true. i transplanted that one to a cup, and a second
weak plant came up in the cup. i debated pulling the weak one before planting out
side, but left it to survive or die on its own. so, two plants in the hole.

the weak plant has produced small pink plum shaped tomatoes with an initial sweet
taste followed by a strong acidic bite at the finish, a rather assertive flavor i found to
be somewhat surprising. it was good, just unexpected.

the larger plant has produced fruit about 4 to 5oz in size, somewhat heart shaped with a small nipple on the end. flavor is sweet without an acidic bite to it. size is
larger than the f4 plant that was closer to a cherry size tomato. the plant is prolific.
seeds from each are drying.
two more paths to go down, and explore further.
