Sorry to hear about your tough times. Very unsettling. But you do have a wonderful view, a good-looking dog, and a whatever-happens-it's-already-in-progress tomato situation that might be fruitful. I've had more messed up gardening years than not over the past few years because of varying levels of crises of one kind or another - the garden sometimes just has to wait. But the great thing is that even so, if you've started anything, you usually reap something! Just keep at it as best you can. Good luck all around.
