Cherax destructor
Put the yabby traps in the dam to see if we could get a few for a feed. Found some. Smaller one went back, bigger ones into the pot.Yum-oh. Bait was a Yellowtail Scad, about 6 inches long for size. They were still a bit dopey from the cold water, so gloves were not really necessary, but I had them on doing some gardening when the kids remembered the traps.
