Are you planting fall okra ?
My okra plants have been neglected for a while. Today I saved seeds from the Green Velvet variety that I liked best.
I should get started with my fall planting. But first I have to pull and clear all the corn, beans, okra, melon, watermelon and till , to make room. I still have some melons and watermelons to pick.
I have a small separate area for Cole Crops .
My extension co-op center recommends starting most fall crops around mid August. I have to go by that since this is my first season down here.
