Robert, thanks so much for your background information.

I did forget to say one thing,though.

When you take branches or cuttings and put them,hopefully in a solid matrix,not water, you need to take off any blossoms and small tomatoes, and that so all energy goes into root growth, and not into blossom set,etc. And keep well watered.
