Warren, without tasting the product you want to duplicate it is almost impossible to tell you how to make it. I would do this:

Write down all of the things that you can identify that were in it - tomatoes & okra obviously, but were there onions or some spice? Sweet or not?

Then use the power of the internet - type "Stewed Tomatoes Okra" into Google - you don't need caps or quotation marks and see what turns up. You'll get several thousand recipes to look through. Pick a few that seem to come the closest and give them a whirl.
