also, you probably knew this, but in the case of corn and peas, the more wrinkled the seed the more sugar content they have, but there is a downside. Really wrinkled seed has poorer germination, especially in cool damp soil. The starchy soup peas or starchy corn has an advantage in those conditions. Or you can just over sow or resow and fill in the gaps.

I resowed. My problems were from seedcorn maggots.. So I may have to re-resow
