I've been drying them in a dehydrator, then put them in canning jars... Looks like I need to buy more jars! I would say they are a bit hotter than cayenne or jalopenos,
and have a spicy taste to them. I've been frying the Shish!tos in olive oil, with sea salt and fresh ground pepper, very tasty! I also bagged a bunch of Shish!tos and froze them.
