This reminds me I need to thaw out some Canadian bacon if I have any left.
The sandwich looks good.

The brine is a teaspoon of salt for each pint of solution you use and the solution is 2 parts 5% white vinegar and 1 part water.
Hot peppers and garlic in each jar.
Boiling hot pour on fresh cucumbers let seal and refrigerate.
They stay crispy for a long long time.
Ready in about two weeks to a month.
