I started coming up with so many ideas that I even considered concrete counter tops.
That is when I drew the line.
Fancy modern is not the look I was going for.
I wanted something more old world and that is what I did.
It is stained and sealed with Minwax Gunstock 231 and has two coats of Minwax indoor outdoor spar urethane clear satin.
Total cost not really anything as I have all of this stuff in stock at the house.
I think the stainless is really going to pop out on this color of counter top.

I want to add when I process meat I always lay down a layer of butcher paper.
