Someone gave me a bags of earthworm castings.
Being in the desert on acreage I've never once seen an earthworm in my soil. My beds are of course amended with compost and manure etc but I've never used castings, and as far as I know, no earthworms in my soil. Do worm castings have worm eggs in it? If that is the case then I assume that is a way to get earthworms into my garden without actually purchasing live worms? Anyone have any knowledge?
