What a fantastic opportunity you have in front of you. It will be a learning curve for sure. You might contact your local cooperative extension. They might have some information for you or be able to direct you in the right way you need to go.

Then there are the Master Gardener's in your area. I am positive they will have a lot of information for you.

You can ask the local garden centers for seeds and things, our Lowe's out here donates to non profit gardens or gives a discount for products needed.
