The F1 will be a hybrid of the two varieties. F2 is where it gets interesting. You will see alot of genetic variance of both black cherry and jaune flame in the F2....if you grow out alot of plants. You basically look for what you want to see in your cross in the F2. Save seed from both the flavor and look of tomato you like and grow out seed from that tomato in the F3 generation. And so on and so forth. We dont always hit home runs but sometimes we get blessed and find the tomato we are looking for. Either way it is exciting and fun to see what we will get. That is the simplest way i can explain the process without going into major detail. Good luck with your adventure.
