Much as I love bacon, I'm one of those high blood fat people, so bacon is on my no-no list. As a consolation, anchovies.
I like a hearty, whole grain bread, with a heavy crust, toasted, fat slice of tomato, kosher salt, pepper, anchovies, and if I'm feeling naughty, mayo, but it's just as good sans mayo. This is one of my favorite lunches, or even dinner, when I'm batching it. Best eaten over the sink with a cold beer.
