I'll need to use it soon. I just turned (for the first time this year) some compost that I had in the chicken run, and the birds went nuts. The compost in there is from last years leaves, pine straw, table scraps and of course chicken manure and pine shavings, and it's over a foot deep, (12 foot long and 10 foot wide). Over 4 yards of compost, and the girls ate worms like it was Thanksgiving. I love it when a plan comes together! Everybody's happy.

P.S. Those birds ate , at least 1 lb. and some close to 2 lbs of worms each. I swear I heard someone burp, but when I looked around it was just Bertha (one of the Butt sisters) her crop sticking out like she just ate one of the neighbor's dogs.
