The MicroHerd is a group of the former GW composting
forum. Some of their members could probably be considered experts in the art of composting.
Thus, adding a forum here would be reinventing the wheel when there's a suitable expert driven alternative to GW elsewhere that has openly invited TV members to stop by.

As for the potato forum... there is probably no public forum anywhere else that has an expert the level of Tom Wagner on the art of growing potatoes. This alone justifies that forum here.

As for peppers and eggplant... they are in the same family as tomatoes, and thus have some of the same issues (nutirition, disease) as tomatoes, and thus fit in smoothly.

While I think it would be great to have an alternative to GW to talk veggies other than those listed here, I suspect
it would only dilute the resources that are available here to devote to the current forums.
