I have a small patio and no yard. Indeterminate plants only. I like your "What the heck it’s your tomatoes give it a go, you wont know till you try."
I agree. Just wondered if there was a disease from cluttering.

I grew 4 indeterminate plants in four seperate 7.5 gallon containers last year and had no issues, i think many people over do it with the size of their containers. All of my plants produced very well for a long time. Had fresh picked tomato's on thanksgiving. All the plants were 5 foot tall and produced for 3 months. Skin got thicker though, taste was the same.

This year i'm going for 12 plants in the 6 bigger containers. Wish me luck.
