Tom,
If you get a chance, post a pic of a sliced NAR.
I'm wonderin' if they all have that typical interior.
All four of mine did so far ... identical.
I still have some seeds from Dunkel
so I'm gonna try some more of his next year
plus some from these saved seeds.
Next year I'm gonna plant'm in a better tillage condition
and hope they produce more.
I grew this single plant in a special
Sack-O-Scheist (tm) system
(one of those big 40 kilo burlap
Colombian coffee bean bags
filled with composted horse hockey).
Tom, here's a link to a very long discussion of
Neves "Azurean" Red at another forum:

PV
PS: Actually, after I ran it through the translator
http://translate.google.com/translat...language_tools
these French (mostly) growers apparently
know very little about about NAR too:
"*neves azurean red: I never intended some to speak.
Did somebody connait?" [Palim]
"Hello palim, I have badly write the names,
the sachets are not very readable,
the variety is: NEVE' S AZORIAN RED is what you know,
I have two seedlings which pushed well.
ciao ciao jardinautes" [bactrachian]
Well, it makes an interesting read ...
if you have a lot of time on your hands.
