Tania, I don't think there was a mutual conclusion but I do see his point.

Lets take what I know as Pervaya Lyubov.

One goes from the original name written in Russian to the translation of that to Pervaya Lyubov to the English translation of that to First Love.

He listed it as First Love, whereas I would list it as Pervaya Lyubov ( First Love)

So two translations from the original name in Russian.

I suppose each person who deals with names written in a language other than English has a preference as to how they then list or offer such varieties.
