For those not used to metrics, that's a little over a pound to about two and a half pounds. Almost any eggplant can get that large if allowed to grow, but there are certain kinds that still taste good and have small seeds at that size. I have moved away from most hybrids to open pollinated varieties, mostly heirlooms. The ones I am growing this year , and my seed sources include:
Tomato Growers Supply
Antigua
Violette di Firenze
John Scheepers Kitchen Garden Seeds
Vittoria
Listada de Gandia
Bountiful Gardens
Rosa Bianca
Casper White
Pinetree Garden Seeds
Black Beauty
Pingtung Long
Bakers Creek
Louisiana Long Green
Franchi Semeti
Violetta Lunga
