Default Tomato nitrogen source?

Sometime during this past growing season there was a thread or maybe just a post that mentioned a nitrogen fertilizer that was not ammonium based and therefore didnt put added salts into the soil. I had this saved in my favorites but when the computer crashed it was lost. I have tried searches here but to no avail.
I do not remember the name of the nitrogen fertilizer. It seems it was a chlorate rather than a chloride but that might be my faulty memory as well. Anyone have any ideas what I am looking for? I know it was on this site because I dont frequent the other unnecessary sites. Tomatoville has all the answers if you just know where to look.
Thanks for any help of any kind
