And we know there are Brandywine genes in MP b'c?

How do we know that? I thought it was an heirloom variety that came straight from now I forget where,, and while it's PL and a large pink how does one equate that with Brandywine genes when there are so many large pink fruited PL varieties with lots of different variety names represented?

Just curious.
