Theresa, do you know what the reservoir for the <spit!> thrips is in your immediate area? I had a terrible time with TSWV until I figured out that the mulberry-less mulberry trees were laoded with <spit!> thrips all summer. Once I started removing them, I was able to get the <spit!> thrips and their weapon of mass destruction, TSWV under control.

I still plant at least one hybrid that is resistant to TSWV every year just in case, but I rarely see any TSWV on more than the odd tomato or pepper anymore. I lost one Corno Di Toro to it this year, but I didn't see any on the tomatoes.
