I get that on my container plant on the deck. It gets quite a bit more wind and heat than the rest of my tomatoes. The deck is dark gray (almost black) and it sits up in the air and hangs over a small cliff. I've always felt it was due to the wind whipping the leaves against the cage. I've never noticed it causing problems in production or health of the plant.
