Islander F4 8.2 Vial 08-31
Second Season Status

Four seeds planted, one germinated, will continue care of the others.

This guy also had a seed coat problem. He was reluctant to face the sun just as Islander 6.2 was (see previous post), so I helped him by removing the seed coat. But he refused to spreads his cots. It was as if they were glued together. I could see the swelling of the first true leaves and believed that the "stuck" cots would impede their progress. Yesterday I pinched out the cots below their point of stickiness. The remains of the cot can be seen in the photo and the plant seems to be no worse for the wear.
