Second Season Status
Four seeds planted, one germinated, will continue care of the others.
This dumb seedling thought its seed coat was a sun hat and refused to take it off while outdoors, so I clipped it along the top edge. Then, as you can see in the photo, the dummy thrust part of its cotyledon through the hole I had made and called it a girdle. Because it really was girdling the seedling, today I clipped the corset and the cots opened to the world to let the true leaves out.
