i use neptune's harvest and they say mix 2 tablespoons with 2 gallons of water. you should follow the directions on the bottle but at 1st i thought that you made the mix twice as strong as you should have but maybe your product is not nh.

did you water the plants or spray them? if you sprayed this is way too much, all you need to do is wet the plants, 1 gallon sprayed on 4 plants is too much, i'd mix 1 quart in a spray bottle vs a sprayer that holds 1 or 2 gallons. but if you watered them then i'd say that is ok as each plant received 1 quart. i usually do not water them but rather spray them every 2 weeks.
