I started my hot peppers on March 15th. They were on a heat pad for the first 5 days, but I had to leave town for a week, so decided they would be better off at room temp of 70 til I got back, rather than run a risk of cooking and/or drying up on an unattended heat mat. #1 and #38 have good, mostly even germination, cots have definite color variations. #5 is slow, and has just now broken out a few tiny cots, I expect there should be more coming.

It's been 12 days since sowing and results so far are:

#1 (14 seeds) 11 up, 3 purple, 8 green

#5 (15 seeds) 4 up, slower to sprout and very tiny, all look green so far ...

#38 (10 seeds) 10 up, 7 purple, 2 green, one late with a seed head still on, but stem looks purple.

Will post pics when #5 has a little more sprouting time so I can do all in one post.
