we (Vermont Bean) have less than 20 pounds left for the season on McCaslan.
Guess I never told you the why. Around here there was just too much rain at the wrong time for a good seed production. The other (very large) factor on pea and bean seed production is simply many of the contrators put in corn. You can't blame them with the price of corn the way it was. They could make more money growing corn than seeds. Had it been a normal year for seed buying, you would not have noticed anything.
Shall we call it the perfect storm season for seeds?
