4 foot Kimberly plants
I'm going to have about 6 Kimberlys to share at the meet. The suckers are already a foot tall, and I'm going to pot them up into gallon containers so if anyone wants one please post to this thread and I'll bring it to the meet.
Jerry, have you informed everyone that we have a CHOPTAG FORUM? [Thanks, Mischka!!!] |
Earl:
Please put my name on one. Thank You. I'll probably have 2 or 3 Extreme Bush ( Victory says-50 days and about 3oz ) to bring down to the swap. Good for container growing. Interested ? Dave |
Earl, I'd love to have one, thank you!

Yeah, Dave, I'll take one. What's it's attributes besides being an exteme bush? :-) And what does 'extreme bush' mean; extremely short or extremely tall bush?
|
LOL! I forgot I'd ordered Kimberly seed! It just showed up in my mailbox. Oh, well, plenty of seed to trade next year!

Earl:
Victory Seed blurb says---RL,red,globe,det,12"-28" tall, very good producer and over a long period of time, very flavorful, good for container. Came to USDA from Germany in 1964. So sounds like a " good to try early" to me. As the plants are already about 6" to 8" and in Qt. pots and showing tiny closed blossoms, I think they will have a few tomatoes when you get it. Dave |
OK Earl. Sign me up for one of the Kimberly's. It'll be good to have something earlier than my usual mid-late July fruit. Thanks.
I just sowed my seeds but can't remember all the names. As usual I'll have way more than I can use. I'm trying to make more room in the garden this year for other things--beans, peans, swiss chard, zucchini, peppers come to mind. Man I like summer. Ken |
Ok, Ken, you get one tagged with your name on it. 3 left unclaimed. :-)
