Roses and more Roses(Photo heavy) #2

Honu,
Here you go.:D

A shot down the driveway from where the house starts. It is 100 feet to the garage. I have 11 roses mixed in with as many things as I can cram in as possible!

Here's what you see the other way.

Close up of Leontine Gervais, a rambler.

The next rose down is Mme. Ernst Calvat, a bourbon.(Hidden in the driveway photo.)

Then there is the big Climber, Long John Silver.

Next is Souvenir de la Malmaison, another bourbon.

Then comes Bow Bells, an English rose. It is the bright pink one you can see in the driveway distance.
This isn't the best bloom photo, but I wanted to show the pretty buds.

Pics of most of the rest of them going down the driveway, I showed in the first post.

Here's one from up front, Blue Girl, a hybrid tea. One of the first roses I ever bought, and thought I often threaten it with a shovel, it has survived.

Here's another Buck rose, Aunt Honey.

I hope you enjoyed the photos,
Remy

Remy,

Beautiful roses especially the Bourbons. My Souvenir de la Malmaison never gets really big nor produces a lot of flowers, though I love the smell. Last year I managed to find, after some considerable effort, MME Isaac Periere.
What a gorgeous rose!!! Perfect flower and scent that is out of this world. I took a picture of it today.

Hi Alex,
Someone that grows Souvenir de la Malmaison father north than me.:D Mine doesn't grow real big either, but it does put out some gorgeous flowers. It has gotten better over time too.
Your MIP is beautiful. I would love to grow her if I had the room. I've always heard such great things. Hopefully someday I'll get to smell her in someone's garden.

Stunningly beautiful! How you must enjoy these. Our roses just went in this spring. One bud.

You're welcome Honu.:D

Thanks Granny. June is the best month in my garden. I am working on more blooms from other plants especially in late July and August. The roses of yours will bloom great once they get nice deep roots!
Remy
