Dreaming of Summer
While I was changing around URLs so the other website (which now thinks they own my pictures) can’t see them  , I thought I'd post a 2005 harvest picture here.

Bruce, I love that pic! I think those cream color ones are China Moon right? Very nice!-Rena

Close, Halfmoon China. BTW your seeds are on the way. Will you have room :?:
|
Hahah I knew it was a China of some sort LOL. Is there anything you are looking for? Let me know!-Rena

There is one thing you may have. I'll send an e-mail.

Bruce, just love your pictures. I've got the one with Rosalia in it as my desk top at work - with a purple border :)
It gets lots of attention!! Co-workers are amazed at the variety of tomatoes available. |
Bruce, I love that picture too--everyone I showed it to was awestruck. Might be a different one though as I don't remember the 2 boxes at the bottom. How many toms do you grow to get that many all at once?
I know you have given info. on what you do to grow them in little tidbits here and there--wish you would do a website like Shelly and Roy in Texas and cover it all in detail. Love to hear about different techniques and see how people do things. farkee aka MsCowpea |
You're the best Bruce!! ..no doubt about it.
Was it you who had the monster sunflower on your members page at Gweb? |
PNW_D, glad you liked it and thanks for those seeds.
MsCowpea, I had about 60 plants going but some were poor producers and some produced none. 10-15 plants were dwarf plants and plants in containers. That was, by far, the largest harvest last year. I picked them all early in the morning because it was supposed to approach 100° that day. Laid them out for a photo and half were in the sun, half in the shade. I couldn’t get a good shot that way so had to wait ‘til the sun got a little higher for the photo. Almost cooked the lot right there on the patio. I was trying to get down to about 30 this year but it’s inched up to about 50 now. Doooh! I still have 15 quarts of sauce to wade through.
Was it you who had the monster sunflower on your members page at Gweb?
Hey Bully, that was Cyclops hybrid from Burpee. I grew those a few years ago. It’s easy to impress when your wife is only 2 ½ feet tall. But, I can’t do that foolishness again. I can get at least 4 tomato plants in where those grew. |
