Tomato Immune Response and Fungal Diseases
I've read a few general articles about a plant's immune response, and wondered if anyone has read anything specifically about work with tomatoes? Most of our our tomato-disease action is focused on what to spray with. Are there any systemic options? Anything that has been shown scientifically to boost the tomato plant's immune response?
I'm already concerned about next year's Septoria outbreak! -GG |
GG, are you looking for something like this?
https://portal.nifa.usda.gov/web/crisprojectpages/0224306-pathogen-and-host-mechanisms-involved-in-salmonella-infection-of-tomato.html https://www.ars.usda.gov/ARSUserFiles/00000000/NPS/FinalFunctionalFoodsPDFReadVersion6-25-10.pdf The number of researchers doing work in this area is probably limited so by following the articles published by these researchers should lead you to what you are looking for.
