picked about 15 of these tonight. still dealing with that woodpecker and oppressive heat - broke record today H 105, L 82 - brutal. not the most flavorful, but a monster slicer here, extra juicy for sure.

That is a Big tomato especially coming from your warm climate. Enjoy the tomato and I do hope that it cools down some soon.

Thanks and yes, I hope for some cooler weather sometime soon. Hard to believe SoFlo is cooler, but then again, hope there is no place hotter. I did see where somewhere in Iraq beat the world heat record the other day (like 146).

This hybrid tomato was about two weeks behind in turning as they just kept on getting bigger. Most are of similiar size (big) and a good producer. First year growing, and not overly impressed - esp. with flavor. however, that is what you often get with big beefsteak; so expected. Some did have cracking at the top and a couple split, but overall keeps good form for such a big tomato and as previoulsy stated, very juicy.

If this is verified, it would be the Earth's hottest temperature on record, outside of Death Valley, California, and the hottest temperature recorded in the Eastern Hemisphere.
There is plenty of evidence to verify the Mirtibah record since many locations across the Middle East recorded highs well above 120 degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday.

There has been plenty of controversy surrounding this temperature, but as of today, it still stands. That same location did record a high temperature of 129.2 Fahrenheit on July 1, 2013, as well.
