Great Haul
Great barrowful, Farkee.
I wish I could grow oniony things. No luck as yet. I'm seeing a great salad there with the radishes, toms, onions, etc. Asian green at the back? Break out the oyster sauce. I'm there :) |
Nice job MsCowpea,
That's the biggest salad bowl I've ever seen and on wheels no less. Everything looks delicious! Bruce |
What time is supper???

Looks great Farkee. Do I see a couple of hab's down in the corner of the tray? Earl can bring some of his famous pulled pork, I'll bring some home made Italian bread. We'll have a feast. LOL

I'm jealous! Your harvest looks great and I'm stuck in the cold just dreaming about spring! I'm so ready to start planting! I'm already drooling just thinking about all the new tomato varieties I want to try!!
|
Grub, I do have some asian greens in there--good eye. Dwarf pak choy and mizuna. I had a hard time with onions too until I learned I needed to grow the short-day types for my climate.
Earl, I believe there was an Earl's Faux in there which by the way is the first time I grew it (seeds from Bruce in Calif) and it was EXCELLENT and very productive (had 2 going in two earthboxes). Alot of toms I read about don't do well in S. Fl. but this one was exceptional-tomatoey and sweet. Wish you all were here--I would have loaded you down with salad fixins. I hauled every bit of this into my work. farkee |
:D Outstanding Farkee. I feel healthier just peering at
that bounty....JJ61 |
