Sweet Painted Hill Corn

Has anyone ever grown this corn from Botanical Interests? It sure looks beautiful. But does it taste good too? I would be growing a small patch probably just 12-20 stalks.

The other one I'm considering is Blue Jade corn.

Thanks for posting this information. Sounds like I need to try it as the Painted Mountain did very well for me last year.

Was not impressed with it, but I'll give it one more shot since I got it in late last year. Don't expect anything as pretty as the drawing and not as flavorful as other sweet corn. No keeping ability either, have your water boiling when you pick it (like all su sweet corn)! Small ears too for me. Fed most of it to the chickens.

The husked ears of three cultivars: pictured left to right are 'Ruby Queen', 'Painted Hill' and 'Bodacious'.
