Hybrid Seed company

Hi guys,

I have been breeding for several years now, and I am at the point where I have unique germoplasm to work with which helps create new breeds for flavor and disease resistence.

Does anyone have experience selling f1 seed?

Do I need a license? Do I need to allow anyone to inspect the seed first?

thanks in advance.

I think it would be better to post this in the Crosstalk Forum where tomato breeders do hang out,as you know, and let them answer.

I do know that you can't represent an F1 as having any disease tolerances , no such thing as resistance which implies total resistance, as decided in court, so send seeds to an approved lab where they do challenge tests, which are not cheap.

But I'll let others in the Crosstalk Forum confirm that and again, answer your questions.

Okay, thanx. Should I repost or will you move it?

Appreciated.

I don't have time now to move it and be sure I hit the right buttons.

So I'll simply say that you are going to repost it in the Crosstalk Forum and when you do this thread you started is not the place for anyone to answer you.

I could delete this thread now, but will wait since I see you've changed your location from Poland to essentially Wisconsin, although you are in Poland with possibly a time differential.

No I'm still in Poland.

I'm quick, but not that quick.
