"Dingwall Scotty" - anyone know history?

I decided to grow a Dingwall Scotty plant this year because the name interested me (I suppose I picked this tomato like I pick out wine, based on the name/label!) - but I haven't been able to find much information about the history of the variety.

I really enjoy knowing a plant's history, part of why I love Tomatobase, but am not having much luck with this one.

So I'm surveying the experts! Does anyone have more information about how this tomato came to be?

Kathy,
Sorry I don't know it's history. I agree the name is quite interesting.
I grew Dingwall Scottie last year. It was very productive, producing salad-sized tomatoes that held well on the vine without splitting. A very nice variety with good flavor IMO.

Douglas, glad to hear someone else's experiences! It looks very healthy for me right now and should be putting out buds soon I think. Has anyone else out there grown them out?
