Last years goal. Grow a tomato. This years goal. Save seeds if I'm fortunate enough to get them, and give back to this wonderful community of Tvillers. Thanks again everybody for being so kind to me. Jimbo

Good luck !
Saving seeds is easy.
I bought a pint of red grape tomato from store yesterday. I like its shape, color , size and taste.
It reminds me of Riesentraube.
Now I am saving some seeds to grow it.

This will be my first year saving seeds too, Jimbo. (Other than the Yellow Pear seeds I wiped onto a paper towel; I presume they don't count. Yellow Pear will grow without fermenting in my experience.) Also my first year sharing them. I think it is fun! Reading the MMMM thread got me all excited about saving/sharing.

Isn't it funny? In my garden it did awful, but it was a horrible year last year. I have to try it again.
Rebel yell, Olive Hill, and Lithium Sunset are all so excellent.

Marsha- my Olive Hill, Lithium Sunset, and Not Chocolate Stripes are all beautiful, sturdy, and vigorous little boogers! Thanks so much for sharing them :)

You're welcome. I am so happy you are enjoying them.

About the mites vs herbicide drift- your leaves that were mite affected will not recover. The plant needs a few weeks to grow new ones, and those will be from locations on the stem below where the dying leaves are. You only sprayed about 48 hours ago, and all affected leaves WILL continue to decline. You need to give it time. Herbicide damage gives you cobra shaped stunted leaves, yours are not that shape. It doesn't take many mites to do it, but your webs present and the stippled pattern shows you had more mites than you think. The continued decline of already dying individual leaves won't reverse, but new growth will happen.
But I know you have to learn this for yourself, right?:?!?:
I hope the rest of your season is super great!
