Dwarf chopped off??
What kind of critter can chop off a 10" dwarf tomato completely at ground level and leave no trace? Only thing around here are rabbits I thought but never seen them do that. After the seedling phase rabbits usually leave them alone? What about Voles??

I lost my very first indigo blue tomato to rats.
The remaining stub never grew back. |
deer will eat all the flowers off the tomatoes, groundhogs, rabbits... rats.. something thirsty probably.

just say a $%#@&*% baby rabbit that saw me first:x:x looks as if it bight be a rabbit then - just never seen them do that:?!?: still not sure. No deer here

The deer around here will eat every part of a tomato plant (fruit, leaves, and stems). Hence the reason I have to leave the plants in the garage at night!

They say if you lay fence down in an area they don't like the feel when they walk on it.
But would be a nuisance with grass growing through it. |
